Imogen Heap Sampling is actually Justina's cover of the song[edit]
I'm pretty sure that the sampling in this song is actually from a covering of this song by Justina (who also helped with the music video), it can found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rhjkFm-ytqgCompare

Both Justina and Derulo use a sample of the originalImogen Heap song, with pitch increased -- the vocoder harmonics provide a pretty clear sonic 'fingerprint' that would be hard to duplicate.Of course, Derulo & Rotem may have used the Justina sample (a 'sample of a sample'), but that seems unlikely. Imogen Heap is credited as a co-writer on Derulo's 'Watcha Say' song, and in the remarks section of Justina's song posted on her YouTube channel (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aU6I7yBM9D0) it's stated without a doubt that Imogen's 'Hide and Seek' came first. -- Chachap (talk) 06:29, 26 October 2011 (UTC)
